Here is just a little more information about our primary church gatherings through the week. Any questions at all please just get in touch.
Sunday Gathering
We meet together every Sunday Morning at 10:45am to sing, pray and hear a talk from the Bible. Even if you’re unfamiliar with this kind of gathering we’d love to see you join us. Here is a little more info if you’re thinking of joining us for the first time.
Sunday School
Hill City Church cares deeply about children and see them as an integral part of our church family. We therefore run a Sunday School during the service for primary school children so they can be taught from the Bible in a way which relates directly to them. All our volunteers in this work are dbs checked and we are committed to safeguarding. If you have any questions at all please just get in touch.
Homegroups
Authentic church is about so much more than just a few hours on Sunday. It’s all about being a grace-saved community sharing life and being on mission together. Therefore the heartbeat of Hill City Church is our Home Groups. By meeting regularly throughout the week and across the valley in these small, welcoming groups we seek to grow in grace and impact our communities as we:
Gather together around the gospel (fellowship).
Grow together in the gospel (discipleship).
Go together with the gospel (mission).
If you have an interest in joining one of these groups please just get in touch.
Prayer Meeting
Prayer is a central part to any church community. While we seek to bathe everything we do in prayer we meet for our weekly prayer meeting on a Thursday morning at 9:30am. If you’re interested in joining us please just get in touch for more details.
Global Mission
Our vision at Hill City Church is to be actively involved in gospel ministry not just in our local area but across the world. Currently, we are partnering with a local church in Burkina Faso (Africa) and working with Compassion to sponsor children out of extreme poverty in that nation. Many of our church family consider sponsoring, writing to and praying for our ‘Burkina Kids’ to be one of the most important ministries they’re involved in.
